Three CFPB division leaders will join Bryan Faliero, DBA President Elect and Federal Legislative/Regulatory Chair, for a question and answer program that focuses on Rulemaking, Supervision/Examination and Consumer Response. No canned speeches ... just a straightforward discussion in which you will get answers to your questions on how the activities of this powerful agency will impact your business. The engaging discussion will feature: Tom Pahl, Managing Counsel for Regulations, Scott Pluta, Assistant Director for Office of Consumer Response, and Larry DeMille-Wagman, Acting Director of Collection Supervision.

Professor Todd Zywicki
Todd Zywicki will provide a candid view of what’s ahead for the economy and consumer credit industry. Known for his ability to identify how potential policy shifts will impact consumers, industry and the economy, Zywicki has frequently testified before Congress. A commentator on legal issues for NBC Nightly News and CNN, he has published editorials in the New York Times, the Washington Times and the Wall Street Journal. See why DBA tapped Zywicki to serve on the Certification Council that guides the Debt Buyer Certification Program. He is George Mason University Professor of Law, Senior Scholar of the Mercatus Center at George Mason University, and Senior Fellow at the F.A. Hayek Program for Advanced Study in Philosophy, Politics and Economics.
MARK SPITZ TO GIVE KEYNOTE ADDRESS!
Mark Spitz is the most recognizable Olympic athlete of all time, and is synonymous with the 2014 conference theme: Going for Gold. He was voted the water sports “Athlete of the Century” and one of the six “Greatest Olympians” by Sports Illustrated. From 1965 to 1972, Mark won nine Olympic gold medals, one silver, and one bronze; five Pan-American gold medals; 31 National AAU titles; eight NCAA championships; and the Sullivan Award as the nation's top amateur athlete. He also set 33 world records.
One of the greatest living sports legends, Mark started a successful real estate company following his athletic career, and has traveled the world as a business consultant and speaker. Mark’s captivating keynote message will help you go the distance in your pursuit of gold.
